Kelly GreerMrs. Greer is a product of the Salem-Keizer School District having attended Hayesville Elementary School, Waldo Middle School and McKay High School. As an undergraduate at Western Oregon University she was a three year starter on the Wolves’ Softball Team. Mrs. Greer graduated from Western in 2000 where her major was Psychology and her minor Spanish. She did her postgraduate work at Oregon State University earning a Master’s Degree in Counseling. While in college she was an employee of the Boys and Girls Club of Salem. She was a member of the Claggett Creek Counseling staff for fourteen years where the counseling department became a Recognized ASCA Model Program. She is now in her third year at Leslie Middle School where she is also coaching volleyball. Mrs. Greer is married to Brian Greer a local business owner and former team captain and All-American football player at Willamette University. The Greer’s have two children Brady thirteen and Ben ten. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as working out at the gym. She is also a huge baseball fan and loves to spend her spring and summer on the baseball field!

Pete TellerPictured with one of his personal heroes, Dolores Huerta, Mr. Teller has worked as a middle school counselor in the Salem-Keizer School District since 2001. He has a Master of Arts in Counseling from George Fox University and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science with Minors in History and Religion from Union College, Lincoln, NE. Mr. Teller was honored in November, 2017, when he was awarded the "Peace Educator of the Year" by the Wholistic Peace Institute and Educating For Peace for his work with the Peer Helpers. Mr. Teller is the first certified Zero Bullying Prevention Specialist in the United States. He received his certificate from Columbia Educational Designs through their agreement with the prestigious Centre for Behavioral Research at the University of Stavanger located in Stavanger, Norway. Mr. Teller actively engages students in the Hands & Words Are Not For Hurting Project and invites everyone to live the pledge, “I will not use my hands or my words for hurting myself or others.”® He is a huge proponent of restorative justice and endeavors to equip students with conflict management skills while actively conducting peer-to-peer mediations. Mr. Teller is a proud member of the Salem-Keizer Public Schools Equity Committee, LGBTQ Student Advisory Committee, and works closely with the Salem Keizer Education Association's Community Advocacy & Partnership Engagement (CAPE) Leaders. He is also very active in the community where he participates on the Marion County LGBTQ Foster Youth Workgroup and is a member of the local NAACP Branch 1166.
